Talib Ibrahim Mohammed is a highly accomplished maritime professional, holding
qualifications as a Merchant Navy Officer and Maritime Consultant. His educational pedigree is
impressive, having obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Maritime Transport with a specialization in
Nautical Technology from the esteemed Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime
Transport in Egypt, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Operation of Ship and Marine Safety
from the same institution. Furthering his academic pursuits, Talib is an alumnus of the
prestigious World Maritime University, where he acquired a Master of Science degree in
Maritime Affairs, specializing in Maritime Education and Training.
With over 7 years of extensive experience in the maritime industry, Talib has established himself
as a respected Marine Surveyor and Admiralty Court Appraiser for Judicial Sale of vessels,
having served in various capacities. His profound understanding of surveying principles,
techniques, and equipment, coupled with a strong background in maritime legislation and
regulations, has enabled him to successfully complete a wide range of marine surveys and audits
for diverse clients, spanning large commercial vessels to small pleasure crafts.
Talib's professional achievements are further accentuated by his Fellowship with the Association
of Maritime Practitioners – Kenya (AMP-K), where he currently holds the esteemed position of
Vice President – Nautical. This affiliation underscores his commitment to professional
excellence and ongoing development within the maritime sector.
