Jacqueline is a highly accomplished professional with extensive expertise in Alternative Dispute
Resolution (ADR), litigation, governance, and leadership. She holds advanced degrees,
including two LL.M.s, and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at the University of Nairobi,
focusing on the regulation of Artificial Intelligence, Sustainable Finance, and Environmental
Social Governance (ESG) in Kenya.
Her qualifications span various ADR mechanisms, including arbitration, mediation, and
construction adjudication. She is a Chartered Arbitrator, Chartered Mediator, and accredited
construction adjudicator, with recognition from prestigious organizations like FIFA, the Kenyan
Judiciary, and international bodies.
Jacqueline has played a pivotal role in shaping ADR policies in Kenya, contributing to the
formulation of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Policy 2020 and serving as the chairman of the
Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Kenya Branch.
Beyond ADR, she is a Fellow Certified Secretary in Kenya, a certified Governance Auditor, and
the Vice Chairman of the Institute of Certified Secretaries and the KNCCI—Mombasa Chapter.
Her governance expertise is further bolstered by her experience as an in-house counsel and her
contributions to maritime dispute resolution.
Jacqueline's achievements have been recognized through numerous awards, including the Top
50 Women Nairobi Legal Awards 2024, Lawyer Monthly – International Mediation Kenya Award
2024, and the Africa Woman Leaders Award 2023. She has also contributed to academia
through publications, conference presentations, and editorial roles.
