Mohammed Adouni has over 17 years of extensive experience in marine cargo
surveying and consultancy roles across North Africa and the Middle East region. Since
2005, he has been working as a Marine Cargo Surveyor & Consultant, Cargo
Superintendent at SICEA INTERNATIONAL & SADAOUI SURVEYORS, where he
currently serves as the North Africa & Middle East Operation Manager.
Prior to this, Adouni held leadership positions in cargo surveying operations
management from 2001 to 2004 at S.I.C.E.A Tunisia, overseeing operations in Libya
and Egypt. Between 1999 and 2001, he worked as a Cargo Surveyor at SURVEYFERT
S.A., surveying a wide range of cargoes like fertilizers, cereals, chemicals, sulphur,
LPG, general cargoes, and project shipments across MENA ports. He also served as a
P&I surveyor and cargo superintendent during this time.
From 1997 to 2001, Adouni gained experience as a Cargo Surveyor for bulk and liquid
cargoes at Tunisian ports with SOUTH MEDITERRANEAN SURVEY & MSA-ICC
Group, and as a Supervisor Agent with MEDSEA SHIPMENT AGENCY in Gabes.
Adouni has received specialized training in areas like marine expediting, crude oil
washing, warehouse inspection, insuring marine cargo, loading surveys, ultrasonic
tightness testing, and cargo securing on seagoing vessels. His professional skills
include draft surveys, gauge calculations, and cargo claim investigations,
complemented by proficiency in computer skills and multilingual abilities in Arabic,
French, and English.
Adouni's educational qualifications include international diplomas in Marine & Cargo
Surveying from the International Institute of Marine Surveying, UK, covering various
cargo types and survey methods, as well as a License in Economics Science &
Management from ISGG, Tunisia.
