Waiel Sadawi, a seasoned professional renowned for his expertise in insurance,
logistics, and international business, excels in diverse linguistic environments, boasting
fluency in Arabic, English, French, and German. His academic journey includes earning
the ACII designation from The Chartered Insurance Institute in England (1985-1989)
and completing advanced German language courses at the Goethe Institute in Bonn,
Germany, in 1990 and 1992.
With a solid foundation, Waiel embarked on a rigorous Insurance Training program from
1991 to 1993 across esteemed Insurance Companies and Associations in Germany.
Noteworthy among these were Gerling Konzern, Nordstern, Frankfurter Allianz, and
Munich Reinsurance. Further honing his skills, he pursued advanced insurance courses
in Bahrain and Jordan from 2004 to 2007, earning multiple certificates and diplomas
from prestigious institutions like the Bahrain Institute for Banking and Financing (BIBF).
In his professional capacity, Waiel has held pivotal leadership roles, including Vice
Chairman of the Gulf Insurance Group (GIG) Syria (December 2020 – January 2023)
and General Manager of Arabia Insurance Company in Syria (June 2018 – December
2020). Acknowledged for his contributions, he served as Honorary Consul of the
Kingdom of the Netherlands in Aleppo province in 2010 and as an authorized loss
adjuster and surveyor for the Syrian Insurance Commission since 2007.
Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, Waiel established successful ventures such as
Sadaoui Surveyor, representing major European Insurance companies across multiple
countries. Additionally, he served as a representative for renowned organizations like RESALE Messe and Deutsche Messe AG in Syria, fostering business development and
enhancing trade relations.
Since 1993, Waiel has played an integral role at "Sadaoui Claims Settling Average
Agency," conducting surveys and expertise for insurance claims on behalf of leading
European Insurance Companies across diverse regions. With his wealth of academic
qualifications, professional experiences, and entrepreneurial ventures, Waiel Sadawi
continues to be a dynamic force in the insurance and logistics sectors, driving business
growth and development across the Middle East, North Africa, and beyond.
